Musica

Associated with the Réseau Varèse since 1999

Created in 1982 by the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the City of Strasbourg, the Musica festival is held over a period of 17 days in late September and early October with a programme of more than thirty events. The purpose of the festival is to present the most significant works of the rich 20th century repertoire of musical creations, with its many references, heritage, and masterpieces but also, of course, the new generations of artists, composers and performers who use their talent to renew the works in unexpected, unheard-of and creative ways.

Jean-Dominique Marco

Jean-Dominique Marco is a founding member of the Réseau Varèse, he has been president (1999-2002) then vice-president (since 2002).
