Associated with the Réseau Varèse since 2005

Started in 1991 and organised by the Institute Eesti Kontsert, the New Music Festival NYYD is dedicated to promoting contemporary music in Estonia, particularly through a policy of commissioned works as well as through regular invitations to world-renowned artists. It is held in October every other year, offering a series of twenty concerts.

Neeme Punder

Production Manager

Neeme Punder began his career as a flautist in the “Hortus Musicus” ensemble, before becoming the Artistic Director of the Viljandi Early Music Festival and a professor at the Estonian Music Academy. He has worked on the production of Eesti Kontsert and of the NYYD Festival since 2005.

Neeme Punder is a member of the Réseau Varèse since 2006.
